Lena D. Cole is a licensed hair stylist, colorist and tattoo removal technician. Having earned a Master Degree in Business Management / Marketing. she has taken her passion for marketing and the beauty industry to create opportunities to help others build their beauty brands. Eager to consistently learn more about the beauty industry and perfect her craft. Cole continuously encourages, participates and hosts ongoing education.

HISTORY

Cole gained much of her love for hair as a teenager after visiting her Aunt Billie numerous summers who was also a hair stylist and owned a salon of her own in Tampa, FL. After many years as a successful stylist and beauty advocate, Billie lost her battle to cancer in her late 30's. Cole decided that she would dedicate her salon to the person that inspired her....her Aunt Billie Jean Tibbs and that the decor would be a tribute to the many musical artists that rocked influential hair styles.

PURPOSE

After working in a few salons in her career and using her marketing skills to build the salon brand, Cole realized that as an entrepreneur she was doing it all wrong. She created her own brand #LenaIsAboveAvgStylist that way it would follow her no matter where she worked, Cole was adamant that Billie Jean would not be a salon for stylists that simply wanted to do hair and go home, but for those wanting to build their own brand in the beauty industry. As a benefit for those that work at Billie Jean, Cole works with each person individually in building their brands from a marketing perspective. Although very much a team, Billie Jeans House of Beauty Brands looks forward to growing numerous beauty brands in years to come!
